Apple Creamy

Ingredients

  • 2 – 21oz cans apple pie filling
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 cups ginger ale
  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbl apple cider, divided
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1 cup frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
  • TOPPING
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T walnuts, ground
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 T butter, melted



Directions

In an electric blender, blend pie filling until smooth. In a large saucepan, combine apple pie filling, half and half, ginger ale, one cup cider, brown sugar and apple pie spice. Mix well. Simmer over low heat until mixture is steamy but do not boil. Mix whipped topping with remaining 2 tbls apple cider. Set aside.

Streusel Topping:

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, sugar, walnuts and cinnamon. Stir in butter; blend until mixture is crumbly. Pour apple creamy mixture into mugs. Top each serving with a dollop of whipped topping mixture and a sprinkling of streusel topping.
