Butter Crunch Cookie Mix (In a Jar)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cornflakes, lightly crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped



Directions

* In a medium bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

* Layer cornflakes, flour mixture and pecans in a 2-quart airtight container and label with a three-month expiration date.

Butter Crunch Cookies Recipe

2 cups butter

2 cups sugar

1 package Butter Crunch Cookie Mix

* Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add cookie mix and combine well.

* Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until very slightly browned. Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.

Makes 8 dozen.
