Bacon Cheesie Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup miracle whip salad dressing
  • 2 cups grated medium cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 french stick or loaf



Directions

Combine salad dressing, cheese, onion, bacon and pepper. Cut bread
into 1/2 inch slices. Spread salad dressing mixture onto bread
slices. Preheat oven 400 F. Bake for 10 to 12 mins. Serve hot.

Bacon Date Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg pitted dates
  • 1 lb bacon
  • toothpicks



Directions

Wrap 1/3 slice bacon around a Date and secure with a toothpick.

Broil until bacon is crisp.

Bacon Roll Ups

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 pound) loaf sandwich bread*
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teas garlic powder
  • 1 teas dried parsley
  • 1 pound bacon, cut in half



Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a baking sheet. Cut the crusts off of the bread slices, then cut each piece of bread into three equal rectangles. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder and parsley. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each bread rectangle and roll it up (like a sleeping bag looks rolled up). Wrap a slice of bacon around each of the bread rolls and secure them with toothpicks. Arrange the roll ups on the prepared baking sheet. Bake until the bacon is crisp, approximately 10 minutes. Makes: 25 roll ups.

Baked Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 cups grated colby cheese
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 dash hot red pepper sauce
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce



Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Mix all ingredients together and place in a pie plate or any baking dish.
3. Bake until golden brown on top, approximately 30 minutes.
4. Serve with crackers, bagel chips, or mini cocktail bread.

Baked Cranberry Brie

Ingredients

  • 1 round brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons orange rind



Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cranberries, pecan pieces, orange rind and honey in a small bowl, set aside. Place cheese round in cake pan or on a rimmed baking sheet.

Smooth cranberry-pecan-honey mixture over cheese. Bake cheese until it softens, about 8 to 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
