Chicago Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf round, crusty Italian bread



Directions

In a large mixing bowl, combine spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until well blended, then refrigerate.

Cut a circle out of the top of the bread and scoop out the inside. Tear the inside into pieces for dipping. Spoon the dip into the center of the bread bowl and serve accompanied by the pieces of bread for dipping.

Chicken Wings (for a crowd)

Ingredients

  • 40-45 chicken wings (cut in two)
  • 2 C bread crumbs
  • 3/4 C parm cheese
  • 1/4 C parsley flakes
  • 1tsp accent
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter (melted)

Directions

Dip wings in melted butter/marg. Shake in bag with ingredients to coat. place on dry cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes to an hour.

Chicken-stuffed tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet pickles
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 4 tomato cups (cut tomato wedges without cutting through stem bottom of tomatoes. Chill cups after cutting)



Directions

Colorful and tasty. Miniature tomatoes can be used for a party or large crowd.

Combine celery, pickles and onions (optional). Combine next four ingredients; fold into celery mixture along with chopped cooked chicken. Cover, chill. Fill each tomato cup with about 1/2 cup of the chicken mixture.

Serve on a bed of salad greens with crackers.

Serves: 4.

Chili Con Queso

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomato
  • 4 oz Green Chili Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 lb Cheddar Cheese



Directions

In frying pan, saute onions in butter until tender. Do not brown. Stir in tomatoes, chili peppers and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cube cheddar cheese. Add cheese a few pieces at a time into frying pan. Stir until all the cheese is melted. Pour into chafing dish or fondue pot. Keep warm. Serve with corn chips. Thin mixture with milk if thick.

Chip Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 c. salad dressing
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. Accent



Directions

Mix well and refrigerate.
