Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced (stems removed)
- salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- carton of sour cream
- fresh cooked rice or egg noodles
Directions
In a skillet, brown your ground chuck with your onions, mushrooms and season to taste.
Drain excess fat. Stir in can of soup (do not add water). Right before you serve it, add your sour cream and heat through (do not bring to a boil). Serve over hot white rice or freshly cooked egg noodles.
I love her stroganoff:)
Sometimes I will use sirloin sliced very thin instead of hamburger. So good!

Ingredients
- 4 mashed bananas
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 beaten egg
- 2 Tbl flour
Directions
Mix and let set 10 minutes. Fry in hot fat 2-3 minutes. Drain. Sprinkle with sugar. (Drop into fat by teaspoonful).

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 2 cups sugar (can cut it down to 1 cup or even just use 1 cup of honey)
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups old fashioned oats (can use quick oats)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- DRIZZLE:
- frozen strawberries
- plain yogurt
- 1 Tbls honey
Directions
Serves 6
Cream oil, sugar and eggs. Mix dried ingredients and apple. Combine with milk, mixing well. Pour into greased 9×9 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes. Meanwhile, puree the strawberries and mix with yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey. Spoon over oatmeal and serve warm.
*You can double this recipe and bake in a 9×13 dish, with just as good results…just check to see if you need to add a little more baking time or not.

Ingredients
- 1 pound sliced bacon, diced
- 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
- 6 eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1-1/2 cups (12 ounces) cottage cheese
- 1-1/4 cups shredded Swiss cheese
Directions
In a large skillet, cook bacon and onion until bacon is crisp; drain. In a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; stir in bacon mixture. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until set and bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Yield: 12 servings.

Ingredients
- 3 peeled and chopped apples
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 cups flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 cup nuts
- GLAZE:
- 1/4 stick of butter
- milk
- vanilla
- powdered sugar
Directions
Mix the following ingredients in the order given.
Cream:1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Add: 2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking podwer
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sour cream
3 peeled and chopped apples
This is a rather thick batter
Top with following mixture:
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 cup nuts
Bake in a 9×13 pan for 45 to 55 min. Pour on a glaze when cooled. Can make and refridgerate overnight or bake immediately.
**For the glaze melt 1/4 stick of butter and add some milk, vanilla and enough powdered sugar to pour over coffee cake.
