Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked beans
  • 2/3 cup ground sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons catsup



Directions

Combine all the ingredients, adding enough wheat germ (about 1/2 cup) to hold the shape. Form into 8 patties. Place on a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. Place a slice of cheese on each burger and place under broiler heat to melt before serving.

Yummy Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cans screscent rolls
  • 14 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter



Directions

Unroll 1 can of rolls onto bottom of pan. Mix cream cheese with 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Spread over rolls. Place second can of rolls on top. Pour melted butter. Top with rest of sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes at 350

7-Up Cake

Ingredients

  • Cream 3 blocks of butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • Add 5 eggs one at a time
  • Add 3 cups flour
  • Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup 7-Up



Directions

Mix well, pour into floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Adeles Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsps. almond extract
  • 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans (if desired)



Directions

1. Melt margarine or butter. Add cocoa and stir until mixed. Set aside.

2. Beat eggs and sugar together. Add melted chocolate mixture. Add flour and stir.

3. Stir in almond extract and pecans. Stir well.

4. Pour into greased 9 1/2 x11-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

5. Cool and cut into squares.

Ambrosia Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1(8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can peach pie filling
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1(8 oz) cool whip



Directions

Combine cake mix, sour cream, eggs and pie filling. Stir with a fork. Bake at 350º for 20-30 minutes in a jelly roll pan. Cool at least one hour. Beat pudding, cool whip, softened cream cheese and drained pineapple. Spread on cool cake, Refrigerate.
