Nobby Apple Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • Whipped cream



Directions

1. Mix together shortening, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar until smooth and well blended.

2. Beat in egg, flour, baking soda and baking powder.

3. Fold in apples and nuts.

4. Bake in a greased and floured 9-inch square baking pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

5. Cut into squares and top with a dollop of whipped cream.

Serves 6.

Nutella Bars

Ingredients

  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup Nutella (chocolate-hazelnut spread)
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar



Directions

Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch pan. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook the corn syrup, sugar and Nutella, stirring often until the sugar is melted. Remove from the heat and add the cereal. Toss well, coating all of the cereal. Transfer the mixture to the pan and push down to form an even layer in the pan. Let cool for 30 minutes and cut into 20 bars.

OLD FASHION CHESS PIE

Ingredients

  • 3 EGGS, BEATEN
  • 1 1/4 CUPS SUGAR
  • 1 T. CORNMEAL
  • 1 T. VINEGAR (APPLE CIDER)
  • 1 TSP VANILLA
  • 1/4 CUP SWEET MILK
  • 3 T. MELTED MARGARINE
  • SPRINKLE OF NURMEG



Directions

MIX AND BAKE AT 35 DEGREE FOR 35-40 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.

Oreo Cookie Desert

Ingredients

  • 1 package oreo cookies
  • 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 3 cups milk



Directions

Crush cookies with rolling pin. Place in the bottom of a 9X13 inch pan. Save crumbs to sprinkle on top. Pour margarine over crumbs in pan. Mix milk and cream cheese; add pudding and mix well. Pour this over crumbs. Then top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with leftover crumbs. Chill.

Oreo KeyLime Pie

Ingredients

  • 18 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, finely crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1-3/4 cups boiling water
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Lime Flavor Gelatin
  • 2 tsp. grated lime peel
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 cups thawed COOL WHIP



Directions

MIX cookie crumbs and butter; press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. STIR boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 3 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in lime peel and juice. Refrigerate 30 to 45 minutes or until slightly thickened. ADD whipped topping; stir gently with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until mixture will mound. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm.
