Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cups margarine
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 7 quarts popped corn
  • 2 cups mixed nuts



Directions

In saucepan, combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup, and salt.
Boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Add flavorings, cream of
tartar, and soda. Pour over popped corn and nuts, mixing thoroughly.
Bake in 200 oven for one hour.

Football Snack Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pure clover honey
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 8 cups crisp rice cereal



Directions

Makes 16 to 20 bars.

1. In large microwave-safe bowl, stir together honey and brown sugar.

2. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes, or just until mixture begins to bubble, stirring every minute. Stir in peanut butter until well combined. Stir in cereal to coat.

3. Spray a 15x10x1-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Firmly press mixture into pan.

4. When cool, cut out football shapes using 3-inch football cookie cutters. Decorate as desired.

Frog Legs (Kids Snack)

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
  • celery sticks
  • green food coloring



Directions

Whip the cream cheese until fluffy. Blend in
pineapple until mixed. Add green food coloring
until mixture is the shade desired. Fill the
celery sticks with cream cheese mixture and
chill until ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • One 6 ounce package butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 Cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 Cup peanuts
  • One 4-1/2 oz. can chow mein noodles



Directions

Place chips and peanut butter in 2 qt. container. Cover with wax paper and microwave at 50% power 3-5 minutes. Blend in peanuts and noodles. Drop by forkfuls onto waxed paper.

Marshmallow Krispie Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines Chocolate
  • Fudge Brownie Mix (Family Size prepare and bake)
  • 1 10.5 oz pkg miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal



Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 13x9x3 inch pan.

2. Prepare and bake brownies following the direction on the package for original. Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows on hot brownies. Return to oven. Bake 3 minutes longer.

3. Place chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in a microwave dish and head 1 1/2 minutes and stir. Heat another minutes or until chips are melted and stir in rice cereal. Mix well. Spread over marshmallows. Cool and cut into bars.
