Russian Tea Cakes (aka Mexican Wedding Cakes)
Ingredients
- 1 C. soft butter
- 1/2 C sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/4 C sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 C. finely chopped nuts
Directions
Mix all ingredients together then add the nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake (400 F)until set but not brown, about 10-12 minutes. While still warm, roll in powder sugar. Cool and roll again.
