Buttermilk Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbl. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbls. flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 (8- or 9-inch) pie shells



Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Beat butter, sugar and eggs until creamy. Add vanilla and flour. Mix well and then add buttermilk.

3. Pour into pie shells and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.

Makes 2 (8- or 9-inch) pies
