To Die For Runzas

Ingredients

  • Garlic salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 large onions
  • 1-3 lbs. lean hamburger
  • 1 pkg. frozen bread dough
  • 1 head of cabbage, shredded
  • Tons of sharp cheddar cheese



Directions

Brown hamburger in a large skillet. Be sure to cook up the onion with it because mmmMMmm smells good. Add galric salt and pepper. Add 1 cup of water, then add cabbage. Cover and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Pull off a chunk of thawed bread dough and shape into flat round patties. Spoon the meat mixture onto the dough. Cover the meat with cheese. fold the dought together and pinch the edges, then set upside down on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until they are brown (probably about 15-20 minutes, depending on how big you make them.)

This is kind of messy to do, but a lot of fun and the runzas are so delicious!
